Vanilla Cake Recipe Demonstration – Joyofbaking.com

While there are many cakes that are perfect for celebrating birthdays and other special occasions, a two layer Vanilla Cake covered with Confectioners Frosting is especially popular. I really like this Vanilla Cake’s sweet buttery flavor and light and moist texture. The frosting used to both fill and frost the cake also has a sweet and buttery flavor with a light and fluffy texture. To further decorate the cake, you can pipe some of the frosting around the top and base of the cake in a pretty design, and candy dots pressed into the frosting finish the look.

  6. I’ve made this cake but it was burnt. I just remembered to remove the cake
    when i smelled it was starting to burn. But overall it tastes so yummy even
    the burnt side. So thumbs up to this tutorial.

    peach alcohol to make sure it’s moist .. Thank you

    that it costs less to bake a cake than to buy one.

  21. Hi, can I reduce the confectioner sugar in confectioner frosting?
    If reduce do I have to reduce butter too?

  22. Hi do I need a lower heat than 180 for a fan assisted oven and is this cake
    good for wedding cakes and shaped cakes etc x
