great recipe, also where did you  get your apron from?

  14. Very nice! – Living in Brazil, I did adapt a few things( for a larger tray than yours)
    – for the apple and/or pineapple filling: I use brown sugar, a pinch of nutmeg + cinnamon, a lime & small orange juices (these prevents the apples from browning) and zests + 1 tbsp of cornstarch because that is more liquid than usual and 2-3 tbsp of a fruity extra virgin olive oil (EVO). Let it simmer for 5-6 m and proceed.
    – for the topping: I use 1/3 ap flour, 1/3 corn flour (polenta like, not cornstarch) and 1/3 oat flour or bran with chopped Brazil nuts & peanuts / granola or oats. I've tried using olive oil instead of butter – it works fine, EVO combines well with nutty and citrus flavours –  but for keeping the butter flavour I now use 1/2 butter & 1/2 EVO.
