Betty’s Citrus-Grape Juice Sparkler Drink

Betty demonstrates how to make a non-alcoholic beverage for New Year’s Eve. It is a bubbling Citrus-Grape Juice Sparkler. It is gorgeous and flavorful, and you can serve it to your children, as well!

Citrus-Grape Juice Sparkler Drink

1/3 cup lemon juice, chilled (This can be fresh lemon juice or reconstituted lemon juice.)
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup orange juice, chilled
25.4-oz. bottle sparkling red grape juice, chilled
crushed ice

Combine 1/3 cup lemon juice, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1/3 cup orange juice in a large pitcher, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Slowly add a 25.4-oz. bottle of sparkling red grape juice. Stir to blend. Serve over crushed ice. Wonderful!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR from my family to yours! –Betty :)

    Maybe you could replace the juices with similarly flavored drink mixes that are sugar free, and then add diet ginger ale? I think it would be good, even if it is not exactly the same recipe. Thanks for your sweet comment! I hope you are having a great new year!

I will have to figure out how to make it sugar free though as I am diabetic…that last drink you made was so delicious I have had 3 of them since New Year's, haha..I need to find a Kroger store tho, as my Walmart store did not have that sparkling grape juice at all, and that seems unusual as they carry so much stuff…hope your New Year was lovely! —–((Hugs)) Angie
